THE RULES

Based on traditional fingering and simple rules, using just five scale and four arpeggio patterns.

For example, C major scale: Both 3rd fingers play simultaneously. There are 13 scales with this pattern or rule!

Memorising is quick, easy and secure. Pupils can learn by themselves.

 

Don't read music? NO PROBLEM

Clear keyboard and stave illustrations enable both readers and non-readers of music notation to learn and play scales and arpeggios with ease. This method is particularly helpful for those with dyslexia.

 

REVISED for the new syllabi

Grade 5 includes dominant and diminished seventh arpeggios required for higher grades..

GRADES 1 - 2

Stave and keyboard illustrations including broken chords.

GRADES 3 - 4

Chromatic scales are illustrated with a choice of basic, advanced or Chopin fingering techniques.
